  17. When I first installed xdvi with the file browser, I thought I could
  18. get away with starting xdvi at login time and select the different
  19. files, when I wanted to view them.  Of course, this turned out to not
  20. work as expected.

  22. I'm not sure about the need for including the home directory of the
  23. dvi file _in addition_ to the current working directory.  I would be
  24. happy with just the home directory of the dvi file.  If I'm not
  25. mistaken, this can simply be achieved by the system call `chdir'.  And
  26. I don't think this should be a part of Kpathsea itself.
